The third sequel of the Transformers franchise has more action that the first two combined. The movie means war. It would be more pleasant to watch it from a distance since our peripheral view can be blurred trying to fit busy scenes from a large screen into our eyes, you are sure to miss on some details.

There are more characters, bigger decepticons, more betrayals, new soldiers, gadgets, you name it. This sequel is very much independent from its previous films. What is abundant in amazing special effects and gut-wrenching action, the movie lacks a good story. It felt like the 90′s television cartoon series that after the watching first three episodes.

Hearing the voice of Sentinel Prime, my guess was right as I told my wife that the voice behind the Autobot, sounded like Leonard Nimoy from Star Trek. It was hard to miss the manner of how the actor speaks, especially when the older Spock was talking to Kirk in the cave of ice.

Always present were comic, funny lines and scenes as in the previous films. Sam’s parents had little role in the film, and the tiny chihuahua Mojo is missing.

Of course, I have to draw comparisons between Megan Fox and her replacement Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, who portrays a different character as Carly Spencer. The movie never depicted how Mikaela (Fox) exited as Sam’s love interest. But like Mikaela, Sam’s relationship with Carly had that feeling of frailty. The chemistry was nowhere near compared to the resigned actress. I am not a fan of Fox, but if there will be a 4th Transformers movie, please bring back the Fox.

I rate the film 8.5-out-of-10 stars.
