US President Barack Obama was not “shot twice in the lower pelvic area and in the neck” despite @FoxNewsPolitics claims.

Hackers were able to fire off five tweets before @FoxNewsPolitics regained control of their account and tweeted “Just regained full access to our Twitter and email. Happy 4th.”

Twitter user @TheScriptKiddie owned up to the hack tweeting “Fox news politics hacked by the scriptkiddies! http://t.co/6yZDcTS more embarrassment for FoxNews is imitate.”

TheScriptKiddie also revealed why they chose Fox News: “We are looking to find information about corporations to assist with antisec. Fox News was selected because we figured their security would be just as much of a joke as their reporting.”
