The leader singer of the American rock band, Aerosmith spent an entire season as a judge in the world’s most popular singing contest, American Idol. This of course, has sacrificed time in writing and recording with his band. Will he be back for Idol’s new season?

“We’re in negotiations,” the genuine rock star told FoxNews in Boston when he was asked about judging for another season. The 63-year old veteran will definitely be back in the judge’s seat, for he had signed a contract for a multiple series according to Entertainment Weekly.

But what about his 4-decade old band? Aerosmith’s lead guitarist Joe Perry tweeted lately, “Whole band has plans to go into the studio with (record producer) Jack Douglas second week of July to work on new Aero cd. Laying down some new tracks this week. Been listening to fans comments over last couple of yrs putting that in creative blender.”

Will the hand tour to promote this new album be on hold when Idol season starts? Aww…Jaded!
