Last weekend, 31-year old Los Angeles Lakers forward Lamar Odom was involved in car accident, when his driver crashed into a motorcyclist and a 15-year old pedestrian in Queens, New York.

The cyclist and teenager were rushed to Elmhurst Hospital with serious injuries. Odom was unhurt but obviously disturbed, broke down and cried. He was in town to attend to his cousin’s funeral. The names of the two have not yet been released and little is known on their present condition.

His wife Khloe Kardashian who also in the same city was not with him in the car, contrary to initial reports who may have been misled after she tweeted: “Angels are surrounding me always. Thank you!”

Jill Fritzo, Kloe’s publicist confirmed this: “Khloe wasn’t in the car. It was a driver, and Lamar was in the back seat.”

There are no details yet on why the driver hit the boy and motorcyclist.

Odom went back to work on Friday, shooting for a Nike commercial in New York.
