Just when girls her age are out and about enjoying the perks of being young and single, Selena is all alone and loveless.

The singer/actress, who has broken up with Nick Jonas earlier this year, said she hasn’t had a date in 6 long months! What’s wrong, Selena?

“The truth is I haven’t met anyone. But I’m young. I don’t need to have a boyfriend right now.”

“Any crush or relationship is always a big ordeal. To get that one boy to like you and then he doesn’t feel feels like the end of the world…I figure that you will have about 1,000 dates until you get your perfect guy,” said Selena.

Selena has been previously compared with teen queen Miley Cyrus, but she insists she’s not doing it on purpose.

“I’m just trying to be myself,” she said.
