American Idol winner Fantasia Barrino is being dragged into a tale of a very nasty divorce. So nasty-there’s a sex tape involved.

Reports surfaced that the singer is involved in a sexual relationship with an Antwaun Cook, a married man. Court documents filed last week by Cook’s wife says that Antwaun and Fantasia began a “covert adulterous affair” in August 2009. The adulterous couple were also said to have made a sex tape.

But Fantasia is quick to deny such accusations. “Fantasia is certain that she is not responsible for the deterioration of [their] marriage,” her manager, Brian Dickens, said in a statement Monday.

A lawyer for Fantasia also claims that the allegations were made to get media attention.

Lawyer Gena Morris tells TMZ.com, “Mrs. Cook gratuitously included claims about Fantasia to sensationalize that litigation and to insure that her tale would be picked up by tabloids. The fact that she would seek such publicity in a case involving her children is particularly disgraceful.”
