With two months left before they settle their rivalry inside the ring, eight division world champ Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao pays three world division champ Juan Manuel “Dinamita” Marquez a visit in Mexico, then a square off with closed fists on mikes follows.
This is hilarious and a great scene at the same time. Pacquiao conducting a goofy interview with Marquez, with the Pacman asking how Marquez is preparing for their fight in November.
“Marquez, what is your special preparation for this upcoming fight on November 12?” he questions his opponent.
“I did special preparation for me, that’s strength and speed because this fight is different weight,” answered the Mexican.
“Do you have any strategy that you can use in the fight?” Pacquiao sheepishly asked with his right hand accenting the query.
“I use my speed. I use my strength. Usually my opponent would (would that be Pacquiao?) is very speed, very quickly, and I need to use my speed too,” he answered smiling.
Then the rivals found themselves battling it out in a singing contest in La Academia. After shaking hands, Pacquiao sang to John Lennon’s Imagine while Marquez sang El Rey by Jose Alfredo Jimenez. Afterwards, they sang duet on a portion of La Bamba.
