ASUS, the computer and computer accessories manufacturer has officially launched the ASUS EEE Pad EP121 Tablet which features a 12″ high resolution multi-touch sensitive screen. It is like a laptop sans the keyboard which is why probably ASUS is also touting a “hybrid” dock/keyboard solution for those times when you want some more tactile feedback to your typing. It reportedly has an amazing 10-hour battery life!

The tablet is coming with an installed Windows 7 Home Premium OS (Operating System), that can do multiple computing tasking all at the same time.  The Eee Pad also includes an integrated webcam and at least one USB port.

A 10-inch version will be also available, though its specs are less detailed. It is set to run on Windows Embedded Compact 7.

The EP121 has an amazing multimedia platform that allows great listening to music or watch high definition movies.

It is powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo CULV processor.

The price range is around $399 to $499.
