Last night, Boston Celtics center player, Kendrick Perkins received his 7th technical foul in the postseason and may merit a one game suspension under NBA rules. He was thrown out of the game against conference rivals, Orlando Magic. Perkins was ejected with 36 seconds left in the tight 1st half after getting two technical fouls in within 2 minutes. The 2nd technical foul call was pretty controversial, and officials will review the scene some more and decide whether to rescind either or both of the technical fouls if deserving.

Both headcoaches thought the call was too much.

“Didn’t think he deserved either one,” Celtics’ coach Doc Rivers said.

Three Celtics centers were out even before the game ended. Kendrick got thrown out, Rasheed Wallace fouled out and hurt his back, and a much worse injury, Glen Davis receives an elbow from Dwight Howard who didn’t mean to hurt Davis.

“Never want to see anybody, especially a friend, go down like that,” Howard said.

The Celtics are in a fix for Game 6.

“Well, it’s not a pleasant thought,” River said.
