Alright, the first time I heard of a “Chupacabra” was on a Dexter’s Laboratory episode (top left corner image) back in the late 90′s. It’s a sighting similar to a “Bigfoot” or the “Loch Ness monster”. Now rumors are all over the internet of a chupacabra getting slain in Texas.

Chupacabras are a legendary cryptid (a creature that has been believed to exist but not recognized by a scientific concensus), inhabiting parts of Americas like Puerto Rico (where it was first sighted) and Mexico. The creature’s name is derived from it trait of attacking and drinking the blood of goats and other livestock. Hence, chupar “to suck” and cabra “goat”, literally “goat sucker”.

Canine creatures that resemble the legendary cryptid were killed by a Texan rancher. The rancher said he heard growling coming from the barn. He investigates it and finds it to be the ugliest creature he’d seen. He proceeded to ask assistance from an animal control officer and but then killed the animal.
