Normally, the mere utter of his name draws a lot of attention from fans and girls, kids and girls, some boys and more girls…maybe parents too. His presence invokes screams, stampede, fainting and sold out arenas around the world. News of Kim Kardashian dating the young superstar Justin Bieber gave the Kardashian a hint of jealousy from fans, and even angered more girls.

But this time around, it would be hard to believe and much harder for a Bilieber to find out Vanity Fair sold a lot less copies when Bieber graced the cover of their magazine.

The pairing of Bieber and Vanity Fair seemed really cool. On the contrary, Women’s Wear Daily says Justin’s cover is going to be the worst selling Vanity Cover in 12 years and one of the top 3 worst selling since 1992.

Bieber’s VF issue sold 246,000 copies, 28% below the magazine’s average of 342,000 for the first half of the year. Since editor Graydon Carter took over VF in 1992, only two other covers yielded the same output. In 1993, with Harrison Ford and in 1999 with Will Smith.

This isn’t the first time for singer-musician. People and Teen Vogue had the same reception back in April and October 2010.

Bilieber  it or not? Bieber it.
