Oops he did it again! LA’s kapitan Kobe Bryant led his team to a final onslaught that broke the seesaw match in the fourth quarter between long-time rivals the Lakers and the Celtics.

With 42 seconds left in the game, the former MVP went for a pull-up that put the Lakers one point ahead 95-94. Rallying from a 5-point deficit, the Lakers scored the final 8 points with Andrew Bynum putting the finishing touches for a 97-94 win.

Bryant was responsible for the dish.

“Andrew is too big. You can’t teach that,” Bryant lectured. “I knew it was going to be a high-percentage shot.”

“It was crazy,” Bynum confirmed. “Kobe came up with that play. He said, ‘They’re not going to be able to know what to do.’ I was able to get deep position and go to work.”

“We love beating this team”

Bryant finished with 26 points and 7 assists while Bynum added 20 more points and 14 rebounds.

“Today was just another example of (Kobe) trusting Andrew,” said Lakers veteran guard Derek Fisher.

“It’s the part of the continued evolution in terms of him doing different things to get over the top.”
