The home is at Brentwood, California, and you can have it for $3.6 Million. Not bad, eh? For the house of the most famous iconic bombshell in Hollywood history.

Marilyn Monroe bought the humble abode back in March 1962 for $90,000. It was reported in the Hollywood: The Movie Lover’s Guide: The Ultimate Insider Tour to Movie L.A. that, “she had found the house and bought it—all by herself. She had liked the house and took a trip to Mexico to look for furnishings and fabrics. She especially liked the garden, where she often played with her poodle, Maf.”

It’s sad that she had to pass away to early and never had the chance to enjoy this house more.

It is a cozy and elegant Spanish-style house, with a kidney-shaped pool, four bedrooms, three baths, and a citrus grove. It still has the original terra-cotta floors and wood-beamed ceiling. Although its size is not what you’d expect a Hollywood goddess’ house would be, its charm and ambience scream of elegance, taste, art, and even mystery.

Check out the house listing complete with photos on David Offer where they call it a “rare hidden jewel in Brentwood.”
