Die-hard Michael Jackson fans will finally be able to see their idol up close in a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

Radar Online has exclusively acquired news that the final resting place of the King of Pop, the Holly Terrace at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, in Glendale, California, will be opened for public viewing for the first time ever this coming Friday, 25th of June, to mark the first anniversary of his tragic passing.

Details and arrangement of the event will be announced Wednesday. Michael Jackson fans who wish to pay their respects may visit the Great Mausoleum, where Jackson’s body lies in a marble sarcophagus.

This is a major event, because usually, non-family members are prohibited to enter the mausoleum where Jackson is buried along with other stars such as Clark Gable from ‘Gone with the Wind.’ Also, the event is expected to be a massive one since fans from all over the world are reported to make pilgrimages to his resting place.

“There will be a stage set up and the cemetery will be open from dawn to dusk — seven to seven,” a source said to Radar Online.

“The Jacksons may make an appearance and there may be a ceremony, although this may be more fan generated.”

“We know someone had talked about releasing balloons, rather than anything official.”

“But the big news for fans is that Holly Terrace will be open for them to pay their respects to Michael.”
