Following the Pacquiao-Marquez III fight, WBC world welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. has become more confident in himself, bolder and even louder that the Filipino cannot beat him.

“He must’ve seen my fight against Marquez that’s why he’s not scared of me anymore,” scoffs Manny Pacquiao.

The result between the Mexican and Filipino’s third installment may have sealed the deal for the megafight, ever flamboyant, now it’s cocky-boy Floyd looking to fight Pacman in May 5.

“Losing is in Pacquiao’s mind… He lost to Marquez three times. May 5 is the date, sign the contract, I’m waiting,” Mayweather said.

While the two boxers are in a hurry to settle the score on May 5, founder and CEO of Top Rank Bob Arum is not all that too excited to with the date. Could it be that he’s lost confidence in Pacquiao as well that this match will be the end for the boxer-politician and he’s milking Pacquiao at the ending of his career? Hey, Arum is a businessman. Possibly part 4 of Pacquiao and Marquez, and then Mayweather.

“It doesn’t have to be necessarily May 5th,” said Arum in an interview with The Examiner.

“If Floyd wants to fight Pacquiao, maybe another date is preferable, given the fact that Pacquiao had a serious cut in the last fight, so there is no magic in May 5th but there is magic in Pacquiao-Mayweather fight,” Arum continued.
