According to Sports Illustrated’s annual analysis of the 50 highest-earning US athletes, the bad financial news for Tiger Woods is that his endorsements this year will pay $22 million less than last year.

But the good news for Woods is that, for a seventh consecutive year, he still tops the list with estimated total earnings of more than $90 million.

He was believed to have earned nearly $128 million two years ago, but that was before he lost sponsorship deals with Gatorade, Accenture, and AT&T.

Phil Mickelson is in Tiger’s shadow as the No. 2 earner in sports with $61 million, including endorsement income of $52 million.

Floyd Mayweather Jr., LeBron James, Alex Rodriguez, Shaquille O’Neal, Kobe Bryant, Derek Jeter, Peyton Manning, and Dwyane Wade complete the rest of the top 10.

The Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11 video game has flopped. Sales are off by 32 percent compared to last year’s version, said industry analysts.
