Uruguay VS Netherlands Live Stream | World Cup 2010 - Uruguay and Netherlands fight for a finals spot in the 2010 World Cup at the Green Point Stadium in Cape Town 2:30 PM ET.

Netherlands will be looking to advance to the finals and erase the memory of their 1974 and 1978 World Cup finals losses. The last time the Oranje competed in a World Cup semi-final was in 1998, when they were knocked out on penalties by Brazil following a 1-1 draw that included one of the greatest ever finals goals, a finish of real beauty from Dennis Bergkamp.

Netherlands have won all of their five World Cup matches beating Denmark, Japan, Cameroon, Slovakia and Brazil. With strikers Wesley Sneijder and Arjen Robben performing well and showing a lot of creativity lately, they are expected to exploit Uruguay’s player deficiencies and unlock their defense.

Uruguay will be counting on it’s tight defense and will be tapping Diego Forlan for the counterattacks. Uruguay’s central midfield tandem of Diego Perez and Egidio Arevalo has provided an effective shield in front of the team’s backline, which has conceded just two goals in the tournament.

Bad news for Uruguay, though. Left back Jorge Fucile will be out of action after being suspended for accumulation of yellow cards, while Luis Suarez is also banned after being ejected for deliberate handball late in his side’s quarterfinal victory over Ghana.

The odds are against Uruguay in this match as they have yet to meet a team with Netherlands’ quality. Expect a comfortable win from the Dutch.
